You are never forgotten - especially when the family all get together xxxx CHRISTMAS 2012 I have just added another donation to this fund raising page in lieu of sending out loads of Christmas Cards. Let's hope that it is a safe and quiet Christmas for all the brave RNLI volunteers. Not too far to go to the £1000 target now ... New Year's Resolution to reach it? 3 AUGUST 2012 Happy Birthday Dad, just lit two candles for you below. Wish you were here to have a cake too. Simon is joining his Hayle Lifeguard collegues to wash cars to raise money for the RNLI at Hayle Marks and Spencers. I have plans for a fund raising event a bit later in the year so watch this space! Sue : ) CHRISTMAS 2011 Remembering Dad especially at Christmas. We have just spent another lovely weekend at the Lifeboat College with my sister and brother in law, which coincided with the date dad passed away. We all had a happy time together, and all thought how much Dad would have loved it there too. Unfortunately work has got in the way of my fund raising this year, but I am adding £50 to Dad's RNLI Forever by the Sea Fund and will send e-cards to a lot of my friends instead of buying stamps and posting them all this year. I will be at work on the SOS Big RNLI FundraisingDay next January too, but will have to plan something that will work around that! Happy Christmas to all our brave RNLI Volunteers - wishing you a safe and Happy New Year too. Posted on December 14, 2011 £500 REACHED - We've topped our £500 target to raise!! Now increased to £1000 instead. We've already got a bit more towards the next £500! SOS DAY FUNDRAISER - JAN 28 2011 Great to see that we are well on the way to raising another £100 for Dad's Tribute Fund. So far the 'Scoff our Scones' event raised £55. This has now been added to the fund. I will shortly be having another £25 added for the photoshoot donated by Mel of Splashography which we auctioned on Facebook. Further funds to be added will be coming from the "Select our Station" Sweepstake takings and some commission from the clothes which are both still being sold! Photos of the Coffee Morning are on the Gallery below now. Anyone who couldn't make it and wants to donate can still do that via this page! MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED MY EFFORTS AGAIN! £25 added today - the profit raised from the RNLI Select our Station Sweepstake. The Lucky winner was Caroline Lewis!
